I expect the last two points to be more miss than hit. That's all that you really need to know.

This is the third iteration of transientem, a site devoted to pieces on anime, anime-related music, and a few Japanese singers. With this new iteration marks another change in the underlying platform. I have no complaints about Wordpress; I just wanted a hobby project.

There are a number of sites that view anime through a literary lens. This is not one of them. If anything, I write with a bit of a technological slant. Every writer needs a voice, and this is what I've come up with so far.

I have a preference for plot-driven shows with a well-constructed premise. Bonus points for technological factors or some semblance of plausibility. I am also partial to pretty pictures.

I have been known to fall off the fence that I sit on, but I generally prefer to be a spectator of drama, as opposed to a participant of it. If that makes my writing dry and boring, then so be it. My only hope is that you, the reader, find it educational, enlightening, or both.
